Today is an exciting and equally sad day as we say goodbye to the bare metal standard option for the screamer intakes.

Due to multiple reports and complaints about pipes arriving with scratches and/or marring from the shipping process and being shifted around the box, despite the bubble wrap…

Coupled with our need to constantly provide a better and higher quality product…

The decision to do away with the bare aluminum standard option is rooted in our dedication to providing the best product on the market.

While this change will see an increase in pricing on all intakes, the benefit is well warranted as our coated intakes perform better than the bare metal intakes in terms of thermal resistance and dissipation.

In testing we realized 12* Cooler IAT1 temps with the coated intakes vs the bare metal intakes which, albeit performed very well for bare metal in a hot engine bay, unfortunately the bare metal just doesn’t hold up to scratches and marring well due to the nature of the soft aluminum finish.

Thus, the Banshee intake line enters it’s next form and opens doors to new customization options as now you can choose your powdercoating color and texture!
